Globe Business Aims For A Stronger Bond With Enterprise Partners At GDay 2022

Customer-centricity is more than just delivering good products and services. It is also a way of showing customers that they are valued beyond their purchase and providing added benefits through remarkable experiences that impact everything—from customer journey to client engagement. And what better way to experience this than a whole day of getting to know your business partners outside the usual transactional exchanges?

With this in mind, Globe Business gave its select enterprise customers a memorable EK GDay at Enchanted Kingdom (EK), as part of Globe Telecom’s annual 917 GDay Everyday festivities. It was a day for the enterprise arm of Globe to showcase its appreciation for the continuous support and trust from its clients.

“This gesture is not just a gift for our clients and business partners but also a way of allowing them to create memories in real life after a long period of virtual celebrations,” shared Globe Telecom Chief Commercial Officer, Issa Guevarra-Cabreira. “GDay is a great platform to revive experiences that were put on hold because of the pandemic. This year, Globe Business expanded its programs from its popular sweet donut giveaways to an experience more could enjoy.”

Apart from free passes to EK rides, exciting activities such as interactive photo booths, food and merchandise, and hourly raffle announcements made the event extra special. By participating in booths stationed across the venue, customers were given rewards for redemption through sponsors, Samsung, Philippine Airlines, Unilab, Pharex Health Corporation, Petron Corporation, Shakey’s, Nestlé, San Miguel Corporation, NutriAsia, Generika, and Sodexo.

Globe Business works hand-in-hand to make customers and partners feel appreciated in meaningful ways. EK GDay also served as an avenue to promote a movement anchored on “technology with a heart” and compassion to support underprivileged communities. Globe drove collective action towards serving sustainable and inclusive development for communities with The Hapag Movement, a project of Globe together with Ayala Foundation, Caritas Philippines, Tzu Chi Foundation Philippines, and World Vision Philippines that aim to alleviate hunger, as well as provide a livelihood to impoverished Filipinos. During the event at EK, enterprise clients were able to contribute to the Movement through donations via QR codes distributed in different booths, as well as the conversion of unused Wizard Money, which guests were given for food and merchandise purchases.

“The pandemic may have changed a lot of things, but we will continue to be passionate and appreciative of our customers. Our Globe Business GDay initiatives are about celebrating and strengthening partnerships, reminding people that effective collaboration goes beyond transactional projects. Being able to form connections with customers allows us to create initiatives with them that make an impact and uplift fellow Filipinos from all walks of life,” mentioned Raymond Policarpio, Vice President for Business Strategy and Marketing for Globe Business Enterprise Group.

Aside from its magical EK GDay, Globe Business also added to the 917 GDay Everyday festivities with its Donut Day, an annual sweet treat for enterprise leaders, executives, and key business influencers across the Philippines.
