EastWest Wins National Award for People Program of the Year at the 2025 PMAP Awards

“People Experience Made Easy” recognized for simplifying and humanizing HR transformation

Manila, Philippines — EastWest has been recognized with the People Program of the Year – National Winner at the 2025 People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) Awards held at Nustar Resort and Casino in Cebu.

EastWest Bank Wins National People Program of the Year Award at the 2025 PMAP Awards. EastWest Bank executives, leaders, and representatives proudly accepted the People Program of the Year – National Winner award for the “People Experience Made Easy”program during the 2025 PMAP Awards Night organized by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP). The award recognizes EastWest’s innovative and sustainable approach to enhancing the employee experience through automation, people analytics, and scalable engagement initiatives.

Of the 23 organizations evaluated nationwide, six were recognized as Regional Exemplars, and only three programs emerged asNational Winners. EastWest was the sole honoree singled out for its innovative and sustainable HR transformation program, People Experience Made Easy, aligning with this year’s PMAP theme:
“Sustainable HR Strategies in a Challenging World.”

People Experience Made Easy is central to EastWest’s People Advantage Gameplan. This transformation initiative aims to simplify and humanize employee experience by leveraging grassroots technology and automation development, data insighting, and personal connection.

EastWest Bank leaders receive the People Program of the Year – National Winner award for the “People Experience Made Easy”initiative during the 2025 PMAP Awards Night. The program was recognized by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) for driving innovation and employee empowerment through digital transformation and data-driven HR practices.

This enabled:

  • Focused and personalized program and service delivery offerings
  • Increased HR capacity, coverage and value while keeping headcount, operating costs, and technology investments at reasonable levels
