EastWest, Puregold award BYD Seagull EV to ‘Always Panalo’ Visa promo grand winner

Raffle promo turns everyday grocery runs and card spending into big-ticket rewards

East West Banking Corporation (EastWest), together with Puregold Price Club, has awarded a BYD Seagull to the grand prize winner of the EastWest Puregold Always Panalo Visa Raffle Promo, highlighting how routine grocery spending and everyday card use can translate into major rewards.

The grand prize winner is Maria Theresa Aguilar, 28, a virtual assistant from Biñan, Laguna. A regular shopper at Puregold Pavilion Biñan, Aguilar said she applied for the EastWest Puregold Always Panalo Visa credit card after learning that cardholders could earn raffle entries through both card acquisition and qualified transactions.

“Hindi ko akalain na ako ang mananalo, lalo na sa dami ng nagsho-shop sa Puregold nationwide,” Aguilar said.

Aguilar said the vehicle will support her family’s day-to-day needs—especially trips for her father’s regular medical check-ups from Batangas to Manila. “Imbes na mamasahe, malaking tulong itong sasakyan sa amin,” she added.

Running from April 22 to August 31, 2025, the raffle promo gave cardholders chances to win through card acquisition and ongoing usage. EastWest said participants earned raffle entries via qualified purchases at Puregold as well as transactions made elsewhere, regardless of spending amount.
