Okada Foundation, Inc. Expands Access to Healthcare in Davao Oriental with PHP 165-Million Medical Support
Okada Foundation, Inc. (OFI), the charitable arm of Okada Manila, is expanding access to quality healthcare in Davao Oriental through a PHP 165-million healthcare donation that includes medical equipment for the Davao Oriental Provincial Medical Center (DOPMC) and Super Health Centers in the municipalities of Lupon and San Isidro, as well as a customized mobile clinic for the Super Health Center in Lupon. The donation was formally turned over during DOPMC’s 55th Founding Anniversary Celebration on July 24, 2026.

Improving access to quality healthcare is one of Okada Foundation’s key priorities. By working alongside local governments and healthcare institutions, the Foundation continues to strengthen regional health systems, expand access to essential medical services, and create sustainable improvements that benefit communities for the long term.
As the charitable arm of Okada Manila, OFI extends the integrated resort’s commitment to responsible corporate citizenship through initiatives that create meaningful and lasting benefits for Filipino communities.

One of the highlights of DOPMC’s anniversary celebration was the ceremonial turnover of Okada Foundation’s donation, reflecting the shared commitment of the Foundation and its partners to advancing public healthcare in the province. The program featured the blessing and ribbon-cutting of the hospital’s new floor-mounted digital X-ray, messages from key representatives, and the ceremonial turnover of the donated medical equipment.
The donation equips DOPMC and the Super Health Centers in Lupon and San Isidro with X-ray and ultrasound machines, ECG units, ventilators, laboratory analyzers, sterilizers, hospital beds, and other essential medical equipment that enhance patient diagnosis, treatment, and emergency care. Complementing these resources is a customized mobile clinic provided to the Super Health Center in Lupon, helping extend essential healthcare services to communities with limited access to medical facilities. Together, these resources help healthcare professionals respond more effectively to community healthcare needs while expanding access to quality healthcare for underserved communities throughout Davao Oriental.

“Every Filipino deserves the opportunity to receive quality healthcare close to home. By working alongside healthcare institutions and local communities, we hope these resources will help healthcare professionals across Davao Oriental care for more patients, reach more communities, and improve the well-being of families throughout the province,” said James Lorenzana, President of Okada Foundation, Inc.
Investing in Healthier Communities
Through sustained investments in hospitals, health centers, and healthcare initiatives, OFI continues to work alongside local partners to strengthen communities and help ensure that quality medical care reaches more Filipinos across the country.
